Hipster....or not

So sometimes I wake up late in the morning, don't do my hair, don't put on makup, throw on some clothes and race out those door and arrive at class late....and oddly enough it is this day that I get the most compliments on my appearance. Moral of the story....who said that showering, makeup, and outfit meditation makes for the prettiest girl?! I am never getting ready again....

And there you have it!

I hope that your day is going great! Mine was spent in the library studying for a Chemistry test (literally the story of my life). But oddly enough, I really enjoy it!

It ALL ended TODAY

Yes I am one of those people. You know, the ones that get so excited for Harry Potter that they count down the days. The ones that stand in line for hours just to get a few rows closer, and the ones who cry because the Harry Potter movies have ended. Yes I am that girl, and no I am not ashamed of it.

Okay but besides how awesome the books are, and how amazing the movies are, these books/movies have been a part of my childhood. For the last ten (ish) years, I have always had either a HP book or movie to look forward to. It was a huge part of my childhood. Now it is over. Something that I loved so much has come to an end. For those of you out there who are thinking "you can always re- read the book and re-watch the movies", you just need to know it is not the same. Looking forward to another exciting, suspenseful, and inspiring movie/book is my favorite part. You never know what will happen. I guess all good things must come to an end......actually no I don't believe that. Why do all good things have to come to an end? Whose dumb idea was that?

I will forever love HP. It has made me laugh, cry, snort, and just in general feel good about life. Ending moral: Good wins, bad loses. Always choose the side with Harry Potter!

New CAMERA, new CAR, new JOB, new HAIRCUT....all add up to a new and imporved PERSONALITY!

What a good week it has been....

New Camera- My camera broke back in october...and I have been mooching off of other peoples camera's since them. But I finally got a new camera. It is a Canon Elph 100HS...and I LOVE IT. It is blue and I have already taken hundreds of pictures!

New car- ( picture to come). My parents bought me and my brother John a new to us (actually used) 2005 camery. It is a beautiful car and until John gets home it is all mine! Car lovin!

New Job-(Lots of pictures to come) So for the past 3 years I have been working at a minimum paying Day care in a gymn. At first I loved it....then I liked it....and now...well let's just say that I have had enough crying children and phsycotic parents to last a lifetime (of course I still want my own some day...maybe not for a few years though). I loved my boss and my coworkers, but I couldn't take the crazies anymore. Then a week ago, I came home from work, lay down in my bed and cried because I didn't think I could take another day. Then as I was laying there crying ( swear on my life that this is true) I got a call from a guy from my church who said that an internship at his company that I had asked about a while ago opened up and I could have the job. Of COURSE i took it right away. Then on my first day of work I found out that I get 12 DOLLARS AN HOUR!! Let me tell youu, if I didn't already believe in God, this would have converted me! Plus, mom took me shopping for buissness clothes, and now I am a proffessional looking chic. =)

New Hair- This happened because of my new job. I have to get up pretty early to drive to work, so doing my hair was a pain. Plus, I work with pretty proffessional people whose hair always looks perfect. So what did I do... I chopped 7 INCHES off of my hair. I am not sure how I feel about it yet but let me tell you, it is sure a lot easier to do!

April Showers bring May flowers

Each year my wonderful madre plants a beautiful garden and flower bed. This year however, I took over the garden bed. So I went to the nursery by my house and picked up these beautiful flowers...

and then the real work began. I had to dig up and weed the entire flower bed. This is what I started witth

and then after planting this is what I ended up with...

I can not tell you how happy I am that it is done. Not the best looking thing in the world but defintely an improvement! Hopefully in a few weeks when the flowers bloom and spread more it will loook even better. I feel like I accomplished something today...but now Whew I am tired....nap time for me.

From Blog stalker to Blog Entrepreneur

Thats right, its official, I have a blog. Who would have thought that this veteran blog stalker would finally break down and make one of her own. Well I did, and we will have to wait and see how it turns out. 

Who am I? I am a college student, a pet owner, a sister, a daughter, a harpist, a scrap booker, a mediocre photographer, a cook, and a retired blog stalker (ok probably not retired). Honestly, I do not know exactly what this blog will be about, but really, who cares! So to the zero people out there who know this blog exists, my name is Heidi Jane and I officially have joined the ranks of the bloggers!
